What’s happening with Synergy 2?

Our design philosophy for Synergy 2 was to create a 'just works' customer experience. We came up with a user experience that required zero-config, removing all of the advanced configuration options. Turns out, this was a bad idea as most of our customers are highly technical and expect advanced settings.

So, we went back to the drawing board and came up with Synergy 3, software that 'just works' and is exactly as configurable as Synergy 1 with all of the advanced configuration options that our customers expect. Want to try Synergy 3? Apply to be a Synergy 3 Alpha Tester.

When Synergy 2 went back to beta, we emailed all of our customers to offer them a refund. While many customers took the refund, many instead decided to remain loyal and kept their license to fund development. We are eternally grateful for the support of our customers while we build the next version of Synergy.
