What are the system requirements?

All the computers you want to link together must be on the same network. If they’re all on the same WiFi (or connected with ethernet cables to the same router) then this will be the case.
An internet connection is not required. Synergy works directly over the LAN (local area network); it doesn’t send your actions over the Internet.
Each computer needs to have its own screen (there's no video sharing feature).
Each computer needs to be running either Windows, macOS, Linux or Raspberry Pi OS. We support all widely available versions of these operating systems.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 30 days guaranteed refund, meaning we'll give you a full refund instantly if you're not happy in any way (so long as you let us know you want a refund within 30 days of purchase).

Is there any ongoing charge?

No. Synergy Basic and Synergy Pro are one-time purchases for personal use. You can use them forever and come back here to download them again at any time.

What if I have a problem getting it to work?

Installing Synergy is easy and it just works with the vast majority of computers and setups. However, if you experience any issues, just get in touch with our friendly technical support team. We normally respond within 48 hours.

How will the payment appear at my bank?

Payments will appear on your bank account or credit card statement as "Symless" (that's us, we're the company behind Synergy) and may show in GBP currency depending on your bank. If you don't recognize the payment, please contact us directly (rather than contacting your bank) so we can resolve the issue quickly and issue a refund if you need one.

Which version of Synergy am I buying?

You’re buying the latest version of Synergy, our 5-star reviewed flagship product that we continue to improve every day. You might have heard of our beta product, Synergy 2, which we no longer develop or offer to customers. Because of that, our current product is sometimes called Synergy 1.

Can I purchase as an organization?

Yes, you’ll need our Business edition. This page allows you to purchase a personal license for yourself. With a personal license, only the individual can own the license. A business or organization cannot own a personal license under our license terms.
