Do you offer business or enterprise licensing?
Yes, we offer Synergy for Business (also for other organizations such as education, government, and non-profit).
Our EULA (end-user license agreement) states, if you are installing Synergy on hardware belonging to a business or organization, then you need to purchase Synergy for Business. If you want to purchase Synergy for Business, please contact us.
How long does my license last?
For the My Synergy yearly plan personal license, while your account is active download access will continue to function and you will have access to the latest version of Synergy.
One time payment personal license customers will get lifetime download access to Synergy 1 (the current major version). When the next major version is released (expected in 2022), you will still have download access to Synergy 1 but will need to upgrade to get access to the next major version. We plan to provide essential security updates to Synergy 1 for up to 2 years after we release the next major version.

What are the system requirements?
Synergy is software that works directly over the LAN (local area network) using either Ethernet or WiFi, so your computers need to be on the same network. You won't need any specialized hardware, but each computer needs to have it's own screen as there's no video sharing feature. We support widely available versions of Windows, macOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi. An internet connection is not required for Synergy 1. See the System Requirements page for more information.
Do you provide technical support?
Personal license holders receive regular technical support, whereas business license holders benefit from enhanced priority technical support with a 1-hour response time and SLA (service level agreement). We normally respond to personal license (non-business) users within 24 hours, but during busy periods, this may take longer.
Synergy for Business gives organizations access to priority support, an account manager, and deployment assistance. If you would like to learn more about Synergy for Business, please contact us.
Is there a free or trial version available?
Right now we don't have a free version of Synergy available, and we don't currently offer a trial version for individual personal users. Our 100% Seamless Guarantee will grant you a full refund instantly if you're not happy in any way (so long as you apply for a refund within 30 days of purchase).

If I purchase the Basic edition, can I upgrade to Pro?
Yes, the upgrade price after purchasing Basic edition is currently $9.00 for users upgrading from Basic edition to Pro edition. You can easily upgrade at any time from your account. Pro edition gives you TLS/SSL network encryption to provide extra security when sending keystrokes and clipboard data over your LAN connection. For more information, check out our features page. How can I get early access to the next major version?
If you choose the My Synergy yearly plan, this includes early access. Early access gives you a sneak peek to alpha and beta versions of the next major version (as they become available). This is an optional extra for people who want to try out cutting edge software that contains bugs. Early access will also give you access to the final major version (once it's out of beta).
Where can I find the license agreement?
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 100% Seamless Guarantee; we want your experience to be completely seamless, guaranteed. If you are not entirely satisfied with Synergy, then we offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For details see our refund policy.
How will the payment appear at my bank?
Payments will appear on your bank account or credit card statement as "Symless" (that's us, we're the company behind Synergy) and may show in GBP currency depending on your bank (we're UK-based). If you don't recognize the payment, please contact us directly (rather than contacting your bank) so we can resolve the issue quickly and issue a refund if you need one.
Can I get a receipt for my purchase?
Yes, if you purchase a personal license for yourself through our website, you can download a receipt PDF from your account page after purchasing which will be addressed to you personally.
