Features
- Wayland users now keep their input capture session across config changes, so permission stays alowed without needing to re-grant each time (requires latest Wayland libraries).
- Added a setting in Preferences that lets you choose between the stable update track or the beta track for receiving new releases.

- Installations now run natively on Ubuntu 26.04.
- Support has been extended to Fedora 43 and Fedora 44.
Bug fixes
- Restored the ability to send Ctrl+Alt+Del to a Windows client (when using hotkeys and elevated permission).
- Addressed a crash on macOS that caused the cursor to bounce back when moving between screens at a screen edge.
- Eliminated a crash on macOS triggered while the screen saver was starting up.
- Fixed horizontal mouse scrolling so it again works on a Windows client.
- Reduced the frequency that the Windows daemon causes unexpected response "ok\nok\n".

Bug fixes
- Eliminated a local privilege escalation path that let unauthenticated users gain elevated system access (CVE-2026-41477).
- Patched a clipboard memory safety vulnerability that could be exploited to crash the program or run malicious code (CVE-2026-41476).
- Corrected a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability where a TLS server and its connected clients became unreachable when a non-TLS client attempted to connect (CVE-2026-44296).
- Stopped newer clients from being incorrectly rejected with an incompatibility error when connecting to the server.

- Fixed TLS error causing “unexpected EOF while reading”
- Fixed stuck modifier keys after unlocking Windows screen

- Fixed issue where releasing a modifier key on the server broke modifiers on Wayland clients
