Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to build our brand and digital strategy for the technology we create. Synergy is our flagship product and is a widely recognized and established tech brand that we’ve been developing for over a decade. We have hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide—this role will be pivotal to breaking into the millions.

Your primary responsibility as a digital marketer will be to research our B2B target market, identify prospective customers with challenges that Synergy could address, and develop a fully-costed strategy for creating conversations about Synergy with those customers, which will develop into qualified leads.

You will be expected to show innovation and initiative with your strategies for stimulating interest in our technology, including influencer marketing efforts on social media, re-engaging with existing relationships, in addition to traditional inbound and outbound marketing techniques. We will want to hear about your experience with successfully introducing smaller brands into larger, well-established companies.

Although the primary focus is on B2B, you will also have additional responsibility to maintain our established B2C marketing efforts. This will include developing our influencer marketing efforts, re-engaging with existing relationships, including Linus Tech Tips, and ensuring sponsored segments convert into B2C and B2B revenue. You will also be responsible for the entire marketing piece, from awareness to conversion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of establishing and managing successful partnerships with content creators within the tech industry, with a focus on product placements to promote our flagship product, Synergy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B2B Marketing Strategy: Research and identify B2B targets, develop and implement a fully-costed marketing strategy to create opportunities for us to pitch Synergy as a solution to their needs.
  • B2B Content Creation: Develop high-impact content tailored to B2B buyer personas and their journey stages. This includes whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership pieces that address the specific challenges faced by IT decision-makers. Collaborate with Customer Success to turn satisfied customers into advocates. Drive the creation of testimonials, case studies, and review content to support credibility and conversion in the B2B funnel.
  • B2B Event Attendance: Potentially represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and targeted B2B events to build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and strengthen relationships with prospective customers, partners, and influencers. Prepare pre-event campaigns, coordinate on-site engagements, and lead post-event follow-ups to ensure ROI.
  • Lead Generation & Funnel Management: Design and execute campaigns that generate and nurture Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). Define lead scoring criteria in collaboration with sales, manage CRM-integrated workflows, and ensure high-quality lead handoff to drive revenue outcomes.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation: Use Salesforce to segment audiences, build nurture sequences, and track lead lifecycle progression. Optimize email workflows and trigger-based campaigns to move prospects down the funnel.
  • Influencer Marketing: Develop and manage partnerships with creators to promote Synergy (such as YouTube or LinkedIn). This includes identifying influencers, securing sponsorships, overseeing campaigns, tracking revenue performance, and staying updated on platform trends.
  • SEO & Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify search terms that drive organic traffic and optimize content accordingly. Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages for improved search visibility, implementing best practices in on-page and technical SEO. Work closely with developers to enhance website performance.
  • Content Strategy & Management: Plan and maintain a content calendar featuring blog posts, tutorials, and case studies to engage and educate the target audience.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and Semrush to measure success and refine strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years in digital marketing in the technology industry, with a strong focus on B2B software marketing.
  • B2B Strategy: Proven experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies, including ICP definition, segmentation, and lead targeting.
  • Influencer Marketing: 5+ years managing influencer campaigns on platforms like YouTube or LinkedIn. Proven ability to drive revenue through sponsorships and creator partnerships.
  • Lead Generation: Hands-on experience designing demand generation programs that convert into qualified leads. Familiarity with lead scoring, funnel tracking, and MQL definitions.
  • CRM & Automation: Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (such as Salesforce). Able to build nurture workflows and manage lead lifecycle stages.
  • Events: Demonstrated ability to plan, attend, and generate ROI from B2B events such as trade shows and industry conferences.
  • SEO Expertise: Strong command of on-page, technical, and content SEO strategies.
  • Content Strategy: Ability to create and manage a B2B content strategy that supports lead generation and sales enablement — including whitepapers, solution briefs, and case studies.
  • Customer Advocacy: Experience working with Customer Success to create testimonials, case studies, and other credibility-building assets.
  • Analytics & Tools: Proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush (or similar).
