Mac Synnergy 2 stable : GUI not visible

This has happened a number of times. Synergy initially works fine, it then disconnects for some or other reason. I'm unable to open the GUI so I can't send the log files. 

Restarting the Mac, re-initialises the connection, but I am unable to view the GUI.

I've tried open -a /Applications/Synergy.app

The only way to see the GUI again is to completely remove Synergy and re-install.

Did you mean open -n /Applications/Synergy.app? That worked for me, -a does something different entirely I believe
