Mouse doesn't hide in client

I just installed Synergy 1.8.2 coming from 1.7. I installed it to see if I could make a problem go away whereby if I move my cursor from the client to the server, the mouse remains visible on the client screen. It moves to the center of the screen and doesn't hide.
