forget It I'm going to get a refund Ive check out the forums etc and Ive spend most part of a day trying to get it working before I posted on the forum Ive check the following 1 ) disabled firewall on both computers and rebooted to check if it was being blocked 2 ) checked the net connection and Im getting 45mbps down and 20 up from my isp 3 ) try doing various configurations etc and rebooting Product is junk and 10 dollars for lifetime access that's says it all there, if it was in any way a superior product they would need you to pay a subscription every year so they would money pay developers etc as far as I can see on the forums people having a lot of problems more than success Im getting a refund Thanks but no thanks Ill get a keyboard with Bluetooth pairing for dual setup I think logitech do them what a waste of my time .. synergy should be paying me for the blooding hassle in wasting time trying to get this to work .. ABSOLUTE JUNK

For anyone who comes across this post in the future, here are the steps to fix this error: On the Synergy Server, click Configure Server. You should get a grid showing your computers represented by screen icons. You should have one icon on the grid for each computer in your Synergy setup. The icons should be named to match the Screen Names on each computer. If you need to add one, you can drag a new icon onto the grid from the upper right corner. If you need to remove one, you can drag its icon off the grid onto the trash can icon in the upper left corner. If you need to change the name on one, double-click on it to bring up its settings window. The name goes in the "Screen Name" box at the top. This name must match the actual name of the client computer in order to work. Do not add any aliases here unless you need to. Click OK when done. Click OK and click Apply and that should get you going.
