After several years of use, suddenly my client cannot connect

I have used this great software for years and suddenly my client cannot connect.

The error in the log is:

Failed to connect to server:  Timed out

 

I increased the debug level on both server side and client side but it appears the server is just not responding to the client connection attempts.

I did a telnet from the client.... telnet x.x.x.x 24800  and no connection opens so it seems to be blocked now.  I did not change anything.  Could it be some Windows update?  My server is using Windows 10, client is Windows 7.

Nevermind, got it.  My firewall updated and cut off the port.  Makes sense.
