Synergy not working

So I just downloaded Synergy (latest version) and on my second PC I can see that pc + my main pc. However on my main PC I can't see my second PC in synergy.

When I press share from desktop I get this error: There was a problem connecting to the background service.

How do I fix this issue?

Step 1 would be restarting Synergy service on each.

Step 2 is to mouse-grab one of the screen simulations on the Synergy UI and move it away from the other...hesitate...put it back against the other.

No help? submit a support ticket. (that's really supposed to be step 1)
