Cannot add new screens on Linux

Hello,

I cannot add screens to my Synergy server on Linux and it seems that the log is not saved to file (I can copy it from the Synergy window though).

 

I am using Synergy 1.8.8 (built on 2017-09-14). both my systems are based on Arch Linux:

$ uname -a

Same issue here. Rebuilt my PC (new Ryzen build) decided to do a fresh Manjaro install. I can install it, but can't add new screens. Manjaro 17.06 Cinnamon 3.6.2
