Binding to wrong network interface on Ubuntu

2 posts in this topic

After finally deciding to give beta4 another try, I've got a little farther than before -- just found out about this forum. I removed all existing folders in ~/.config -- including synergy, Synergy, and Symless. The symlink creation mentioned in the troubleshooting steps was for a file that didn't actually exist, but at least it got my two machines to show up.

I reached a dead-end when I noticed that the IP address it was using was for a virtual interface created by Docker, instead of the NIC it'd actually need to use. Hopefully this is fixed for the next round..
