alisam, are you able to move the images of the screens adjacent to one another, so the sides touch? let us know how that changes things.

1) On the NUC I moved STUDY to align with NUC (and pressed F12). i.e. [NUC][STUDY].

Nothing changed on STUDY and was still

[NUC]

               [STUDY]

All NUC and STUDY icons are green and mouse will not move from NUC to STUDY.

2) Moved my Logitech dongle to STUDY and I moved STUDY icon to right of NUC i.e. [NUC][STUDY] and pressed F12. The log says '... claiming this computer as server.

Mouse will not move from STUDY to NUC

This post i.e. adding Port 24810 to an Inbound and Outbound rule on each machine solved it for me.

Finally got it to work.

Can confirm, you need to add both outbound & inbound rules for port 24810, on both (all) computers.
