swaziloo 19
This can easily be firewall-related, though for a while yesterday it was working perfectly, somehow. swaziloo 19
It appears that an update/reboot on the Windows 10 side at least somewhat fixed things. I don't see a way to delete this post, but please feel free to remove it. Thanks.
GranPaSmurf 108
Just FYI, I use Linux, Kubuntu, Synergy Beta found and self configured promptly.
swaziloo 19
Further poking around, I think it might be that it's unable to connect when a VPN is active on the Windows 10 machine.

That's if the VPN itself won't allow communication with local machines/computers.
swaziloo 19
Yes, this definitely appears to be the issue. Worse yet, after disconnecting from the VPN, it's still not able to (re)connect. Only after a "clean" boot does it work once more. Guess I need to look into a hardware switch =(

Try restarting Synergy after disconnecting from VPN (maybe it's trying to connect via an outdated IP). The good news is that we're planning to implement Cloud Bridge in version 2.1 which should solve your problem.

I'll definitely keep an ear out for this! It's also possible that the corporate overlords roll our local network into the borg, which likely solves (multiple) problems.
