Connection Timed Out

I have installed the program but cannot connect the client to the server on our corporate network even though I have created Firewall rules to unblockĀ port 24800Ā on both machines.

Log:
NOTE: connecting to...
WARNING: failed to connect to server: Timed out.

Server is W7 Client W10, Synergy v1.8.8 non SSL

Please provide more details about your machines (OS, 32/64 bit, Synergy version installed, connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, specify which one is the server). Also, post a screenshot of both machine's Synergy interface and the Server Configuration interface on your server machine.

Paul, I'm thinking that this has to do with the network ports being blocked in my office. WIN7 machine is Server, WIN10 is the client. I've tried wired and wireless with the same result. The interfaces are connected correctly as I've read some of your other posts and followed your instructions to others. I'll try it from home on my Wi-Fi off the corporate network. Thanks!

I see. You can try pinging the other machine from the other machine @Mike P. Then do it the other way around to verify if they can communication with each other from each end.

Gotcha! Then that could be the main reason why it won't work. Do you know of any other ports that is not blocked in your network?
