Failed to get desktop path

Am getting error messages saying "failed to get desktop path, no drop target available, error=2". This all happened after upgrading to the most current version (1.8.8).

Please provide more details about your machines (OS, 32/64 bit, Synergy version installed, connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, specify which one is the server). Also, post a screenshot of both machine's Synergy interface and the Server Configuration interface on your server machine.

Hi.. 

I'm getting same error on client pc.  (windows 64b, 1.8.8.stable, WiFi)  and ERROR: failed to get desktop path, no drop target available, error=2 error on server.  (SynergyClient.jpg)

It was working perfectly but after a windows update it stopped working.  I tryed reinstalling but nothing.

Both computer are pcs, running windows 10 64b.

Both pcs can "see" each other via ping.  Both services are running, and configuration seems ok.

Uncheck autoconfig on the clients and specify the server IP manually as other threads mention should solve it :D
