Synergy is allowed to communicate through the Windows Firewall for both Private and Public on the client and the server.

And you don't have any third party programs that handles your machine's firewall right?

I also have Norton Internet Security, and the Firewall settings are set to "allow" for syneregyc.exe and syntool.exe on both client and server.

Just to get down to the roots of this issue @Tim, can you try disabling any third party firewall software on both machines, reboot machines (verify that firewall is still disabled) and try Synergy?

I tried disabling third party firewall (Norton) and rebooted both machines on multiple occasions.  Same issue.  After a few minutes mouse clicks are ignored on the client machine unless I click on the server screen to "reawaken" mouse clicks on the client.

ALSO the mouse cursor periodically and frequently flies "home" from the client to the server screen, and I have to keep pushing the cursor back on to the client.

When will these issues be addressed?
