zybir 0
Hi there, I just purchased Synergy today and after installing I get an error FATAL: unknown screen name `DesktopHome'. I tried uninstalling, deleting the synergy folder, restarting, and reinstalling. I searched the forums and I didn't see anything with an answer. I see other errors about failing to launch, but i'm assuming they have to do with the fatal error. I've copied the log below if anyone has any suggestions. Paul Suarez 107
I am positive that this could only be an error about the configuration of both server and client. Please follow the steps on this knowledge base article.
zybir 0
My setup isa bit overwhelming at times so I started removing things that I thought could cause interference. It appears that the issue was being caused by a second wifi router connected in my network setup. My MacBook was connecting to that one and my PC is connected via ethernet to the main router. After I took the second router out of the picture it worked fine. Thank you for the reply though.
