ipc connection error

I've install synergy pro 1.7.2 and now it does'nt working. it seem like at the client computer(win 8) everything is ok and the problem at the server(win xp). ERROR: ipc connection error, connection refused

Unfortunately still don't work even at version 1.6.0 now it looks like thise: NOTE: connecting to service... Did you try 1.6 on both machines? Have you tried rebooting? Can you ping the server from the client?

After updating today, I also have a similar issue; my server (win 7) log says: ERROR: ipc connection error, connection refused NOTE: connecting to service... ERROR: ipc connection error, connection refused NOTE: connecting to service... ERROR: ipc connection error, connection refused NOTE: connecting to service... ERROR: ipc connection error, connection refused NOTE: connecting to service... ERROR: ipc connection error, connection refused NOTE: connecting to service... over and over... It's not even started.

I repaired my installation, after which everything works again! Sorry for the fuzz and thanks for a great tool!

Ah, I re-read your log, here's the culprit: > INFO: crypto mode: cfb Please make sure both machines have the latest version.
