ubuntu (server) to Windows (client)

5 posts in this topic

So I've used Synergy successfully in almost every permutation. Mac to mac, Mac to Windows etc.

But one I cannot get to work is Ubuntu (server) to Windows(client)

Running activated versions of latest Synergy (1.8.8) on both machines. Also have tried with SSL encryption on-off, turning off firewall in Windows.

I get one warning

[2017-04-16T09:25:10] WARNING: cannot listen for clients: cannot bind address: Address already in use

which doesn't make sense, I only have one instance of Synergy running.

and a repeating DEBUG message in the log

[2017-04-16T09:25:18] DEBUG2: can't read property 589 on window 0x00400001
