Windows 10 64 bit client dropping connectivity w/VPN

Latest version of Synergy (1.7.6) for Mac 10.11 is the server. This is my home machine. Latest version of Synergy for Windows (10) 64bit running as a client on my work machine. Setup works fine until I log into work VPN and then the connection drops and times out. Disconnect VPN, the client connects to the server again and works fine. This exact configuration worked since I became a user January 2015. I upgraded because I was tired of seeing the message at the top of the config window and now it's broken. I hope this is just a switch I have to flip somewhere. Please advise.

Same issue here.

 

No response from Synergy? Should we be using a previous version instead, as it was working fine until I installed the latest version.

Same problem. I need to use a VPN on my Mac to do work. But when I connect to the VPN then Synergy stops working.

Running into the same thing. what's really weird is that it maintains connectivity for a little while; then it suddenly drops.

 

I'm not sure if it's the VPN or if it's the software.
