  1. I get the synergy system to work great without ssl encryption, but when I turn on encryption I get a system call failure which also causes the cursor to get jumpy. The ssl option is turned on for both client and server. Is this a bug or is there some other setting I need to change? Thank you. Below is the log error: I'm running linux mint versions of Ubuntu 14.04 on server computer (Jane) and Ubuntu 16.04 on the client computer (Miner00) [2017-07-01T01:53:40] INFO: accepted secure socket [2017-07-01T01:53:40] INFO: AES256-GCM-SHA384 TLSv1.2 Kx=RSA Au=RSA Enc=AESGCM(256) Mac=AEAD [2017-07-01T01:53:40] NOTE: accepted client connection [2017-07-01T01:53:40] NOTE: client "Miner00" has connected [2017-07-01T01:53:50] INFO: switch from "Jane" to "Miner00" at 1919,523 [2017-07-01T01:53:50] INFO: leaving screen [2017-07-01T01:53:50] INFO: screen "Jane" updated clipboard 0 [2017-07-01T01:53:54] ERROR: ssl error occurred (system call failure) [2017-07-01T01:53:54] ERROR: eof violates ssl protocol [2017-07-01T01:53:54] ERROR: failed to accept secure socket [2017-07-01T01:53:54] INFO: client connection may not be secure [2017-07-01T01:53:55] INFO: OpenSSL 1.0.1f 6 Jan 2014
  2. I upgraded to synergy pro for the SSL encryption, as well as to support the creator. But since doing so with SSL encryption on, the mouse will lag out or stop working completely when on the client's monitor. but the moment it is disabled and running, no problems at all. Running on Windows 10 on client and server, and using version Synergy 1.8.8

  5. Error loading libssl.so.l.0.0

Hey guys, I just bought synergy basic, and I'm having a horrible time trying to get it to work on my kali linux laptop. I downloaded the 64bit debian version off the symless website and installed it using 'dpkg --install'. Clicking start gives three messages repeatedly: /usr/bin/synergyc: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.l.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ERROR: process exited with error code: 127 INFO: detected process not running, auto restarting Any ideas on what to do? I've tried reinstalling synergy multiple times, and I've looked for the libssl.so.1.0.0 library, but all I could find was libssl.so.2.0 (or something similar). Thanks
  6. Mouse is Choppy / Jumpy

Mouse is not working well on Synergy. Jumpy, lagging. Have checked the hardware, not a mouse issue. Please help.
  7. I am unable to compile Synergy pro ( source archive downloaded from: https://symless.com/synergy/download/direct?platform=linux ) on Fedora 25. My issue is very similar to: https://github.com/symless/synergy/issues/5529 Exact steps I have taken: - Download above archive, extract, enter - Attempt config with QT_SELECT=4 ./hm.sh conf -g1 Config fails with: no qmake found. Added /usr/lib64/qt4/bin. Config now completes, but returns the following: -- Configuring done -- Generating done -- Build files have been written to: /home/jniedrauer/Downloads/synergy-v1.8.8-stable-c30301e-Source/build/release Going back to: /home/jniedrauer/Downloads/synergy-v1.8.8-stable-c30301e-Source Error: Could not get revision, git error: 128 - Run build with ./hm.sh build Which outputs: [100%] Built target unittests Going back to: /home/jniedrauer/Downloads/synergy-v1.8.8-stable-c30301e-Source Make GUI command: make -w Entering dir: src/gui make: Entering directory '/home/jniedrauer/Downloads/synergy-v1.8.8-stable-c30301e-Source/src/gui' make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. How can I proceed with using the pro version on linux?

  9. SSL Connection Error

Just downloaded Synergy Pro latest for a new Windows client. When I attempt to connect it to my existing Synergy server (on 1.7.5), I receive this: ERROR: ssl error occurred (generic failure) [2017-05-10T12:54:48] ERROR: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol [2017-05-10T12:54:48] ERROR: failed to connect secure socket
  10. Client cannot connect to server

I cannot connect my laptop to my main computer. The only thing I see wrong are these messages on the server side: 2017-05-05T10:55:14] INFO: client connection may not be secure [2017-05-05T10:55:15] INFO: OpenSSL 1.0.2 22 Jan 2015 [2017-05-05T10:55:30] ERROR: ssl error occurred (system call failure) [2017-05-05T10:55:30] ERROR: eof violates ssl protocol [2017-05-05T10:55:30] ERROR: failed to accept secure socket [2017-05-05T10:55:30] INFO: client connection may not be secure [2017-05-05T10:55:31] INFO: OpenSSL 1.0.2 22 Jan 2015 Can anyone help?
  11. Connection lagging

I've noticed a couple of posts regarding connecting lagging . I also have the same problem My Specs : --------------------------------------------------------------------------- CPU : dual xeon cpu 8 core DESKTOPS : Windows 7 SP1 + Linux ( arch gnome-shell) both machines have the same specs there both dell t5400 RAM : 32gb HARDRIVES : Client and Server both ssd drives ETHERNET : 20Mbps Download 10Mbps Up VERSION : Senergy Pro ( ssl ) enabled ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- when I download something on the client or server it lags reallly bad. is there any resolution to this problem as its very frustrating .. at times the mouse jumps and is unuseable I suggest the devs allocating certian bandwidth to the mouse so when the user downloads something the mouse connecting isnt being drained ..
